The Good, the Bad, and the Unexpected

What a good stay! The lush ambience envelops you as soon as you arrive. The pool is inviting after a long day exploring, and the comfy beds are a dream for restful nights. Minor hiccups included needing a reminder for morning coffee service and a lack of breakfast options. Still, the location is superb!

Well, it was a perfectly pleasant stay for our vacation. The location was very central, beautiful in the main communal area rather than by the entrance. Moreover, it's near to great cafes, many shops & restaurants, and a manicured jungle...

The magical ambiance of the yoga space created a serene experience, and the attentive staff made me feel welcomed throughout my stay.

location: the hotel was right by the beach and art cafes and center of guiones and 10. there was sushi mar easy walk to the property. loved the outdoor restaurant for lunch.

Great location for visiting cafes and bars so close to the hotel. I was surprised at nearby El Jardin Cafe, they had some goodies, drinks. The restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch, I tried healthy dishes.

Family getaway without breaking the bank

We loved the peaceful mornings by the pool and the coffee was great. Alejandro was very nice at suggesting places to eat and taking care of our needs.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly worth it for the experience we had.

Lovely garden setting

The Living Hotel offers a wonderful retreat with lush gardens and a serene atmosphere. Especially during my check-in. I enjoyed the peaceful outdoor patio connected to my Double Room. Daily yoga sessions enhanced my stay, with excellent instructors leading. I faced challenges with the Wi-Fi connection, unreliable at times. The pool needed better maintenance as it often had debris throughout the day. The communal kitchen could use more cleanliness too. Breakfast prices felt steep at $15 per person. I found excellent local options nearby instead.

The pool provided hours of fun for the kids, and we couldn't have asked for a better setup traveling with our 2 dogs. The tranquil garden was a hit was great.

My children wanted more organized activities for kids.

More seating options around the pool would be beneficial.

The pool area serves as a relaxed retreat, perfect for lounging after mornings at the beach, with a volleyball net adding some fun. The space offers unique rooms, including antique elements that reflect the character of the jungle surroundings. Excellent location for easy access to local dining spots like La Brasa and Olivia's pizza.

WiFi reliability leaves much to be desired. It's unfortunate in a modern hotel. Some rooms may be light on amenities, which can leave you wanting more, especially when the nightly rate climbs near $300. Be prepared for the occasional intruding beetle. The jungles have their quirks, as do the howler monkeys that wake you each morning.

Great hammocks and colors. Rooms need better cleanliness and maintenance.

Staying here was quite enjoyable-the lush surroundings and lovely staff made for a friendly vibe. The room was clean, but the lack of breakfast options and occasional noise from the nearby café somewhat detracted from the experience. Still, I appreciated the convenient location near the beach and restaurants.
